Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance (RQF)

Overview

Oxfordian College is pleased to offer the Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF), awarded by TQUK. This qualification provides learners with the opportunity to develop the skills, knowledge, and understanding necessary to perform the role of an internal quality assurer.

There are no specific entry requirements, although learners should have a minimum of Level 2 in literacy and numeracy or an equivalent qualification. The qualification is suitable for learners aged 19 and above.

Progression

Learners, after completing the qualification course, can progress through the qualifications under this specification including:

▪ TQUK Level 4 Award in Externally Assuring the Quality of Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF)

▪ TQUK Level 4 Diploma in Learning and Development (RQF)

Understanding the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of assessment

Internally assure the quality of assessment.

Career Pathways

With a Level 4 Awards in Internal quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice learners can explore various career options for instance:

▪ Individuals who are not currently practicing e.g. a starting point for aspiring internal quality assurers or a professional development qualification for managers, HR or quality assurance personnel
▪ Individuals who are carrying out assessments and quality assurance in most learning environments including FE, Adult Continuing Learning, Employers and Third Sector
▪ Individuals who are carrying out quality assurance in all occupational sectors
▪ Individuals working in accredited learning OR non accredited learning (where people may assess performance but do not assess for a qualification); the NQF and the RQF.
▪ Individuals who have already achieved some Education & Training or Learning & Development units that can be carried forward into this qualification.
▪ Individuals who have completed some introduction to training qualifications
