Entry requirements
Learners must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Age Requirement: 18 years of age or older.
- Entry Requirements: There are no specific entry requirements, and learners do not need to have teaching practice hours to achieve the qualification.
- Responsibility of Centres: Centres are responsible for ensuring the qualification is appropriate for the age and ability of the learners.
Progression
Successful learners can progress through the suite of qualifications included in this specification and further to other qualifications such as the TQUK Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF).
Units
Unit 1: Understanding the principles and practices of assessment.
You will need to complete a written assignment demonstrating your knowledge of legal responsibilities, equality and diversity, individual learner needs, maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment, and your role within the assessment process.
All learning outcomes must be met to achieve a pass, with no grading system in place. Assessments should be mapped to the relevant unit, learning outcome, and assessment criteria. A holistic approach is encouraged, allowing one activity to serve as evidence for multiple learning outcomes where applicable. Any internal assessment materials must be submitted to TQUK for approval before use.
Career Pathways
